Nathan Anderson

Asset Director

Mr. Anderson was appointed to his current position in 2014, after serving as District Operations Manager, Manager U.S. Completions and staff engineer for PDC. Mr. Anderson joined the company in 2004. Prior to that, he worked in various positions for BJ Services Company, most recently as District Engineer. Mr. Anderson holds a BS in Geology from North Dakota State University in Fargo. In his current position, Mr. Anderson is responsible for the supervision of assets in the Delaware Basin.

Scott Canonico 

Vice President Environment, Health and Safety 

Mr. Canonico joined PDC Energy in August 2017 as VP Environment, Health and Safety. He has over 20 years of experience in EHS, sustainability and related fields in multiple industries, including energy, technology, and pulp & paper, in the U.S. and internationally. He specializes in developing compliance management systems, negotiating agreements and collaborating on public policy. Prior to joining PDC , Mr. Canonico was head of EHS at Berry Petroleum until it s purchase by LINN Energy, where he continued as Regional EHS Manger for western assets. His career experience also includes leadership positions at International Paper and Hewlett-Packard.

A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Canonico holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, as well as an M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, and an M.A. in Management from Webster University. He is a registered Professional Engineer.

George Courcier

Vice President Marketing and Midstream

Mr. Courcier began his career with PDC Energy in December 2010. He brings to his position over thirty years of experience in exploration, production and midstream operations, engineering, and business development. Mr. Courcier is responsible for PDC’s marketing and midstream activity including the Company’s wholly owned marketing subsidiary, Riley Natural Gas, he negotiates and manages all related gas purchase, gathering, and processing contracts, as well as oil sales agreements. He is also responsible for the development of midstream infrastructure projects for PDC Energy. Most recently, Mr. Courcier served as Senior VP – Business Development for Legion Energy Services in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to Legion, he served in various management positions with midstream and E&P companies, including Regency Gas Services, Samson Resources, Duke Energy Field Services and Amoco Production Company. Mr. Courcier holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

John DeLawder

Senior Vice President Human Resources and Corporate Administration

Mr. DeLawder was appointed to his current position in January 2017. He was appointed VP Human Resources and Administration in July 2009 after joining PDC in April 2006 as Director Human Resources. He brings with him over 25 years of professional experience. A graduate of West Virginia University, Mr. DeLawder's career includes human resource and operations experience in the energy, government contracting, hi-tech, and manufacturing sectors.

Michael Edwards

Senior Director Investor Relations

Mr. Edwards joined PDC in March 2013. He has over 25 years of industry experience including more than 18 years with Venoco in a variety of positions beginning as Manager of Lands and ending as VP Corporate and Investor Relations. After an IPO in 2006, Venoco went private in late 2012. Mr. Edwards was responsible for all aspects of investor relations and public relations, as well as for supervising government and community relations for the company’s operations onshore and offshore California. He was responsible for land and environmental due diligence for many of the company’s acquisitions. Mr. Edwards started in the industry as an independent landman based out of Denver. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Santa Barbara College of Law.

James Gaulke

Vice President Information Technology

Mr. Gaulke began his career with PDC in August 2009. He previously served for ten years as VP Systems – Chief Information Officer for Nordstrom Bank, a wholly owned banking subsidiary of its national department store chain. Mr. Gaulke brings over twenty years of experience in planning, developing and executing all facets of strategic technology initiatives. During Mr. Gaulke’s tenure with Nordstrom Bank he was responsible for information infrastructure and security, physical infrastructure, and application portfolio management. Prior to Nordstrom Bank, Mr. Gaulke worked for twelve years with General Electric Capital Corporation in various roles of increasing responsibility. Mr. Gaulke holds an MBA in Finance from Kennesaw University in Georgia, and a BS in Mathematics from Iona College in New York.

Kimberly George

Director Accounts Payable and Joint Interest Billing

Ms. George joined PDC Energy in October 2011 as Director of Accounts Payable and Joint Interest Billing. She brings over 23 years of experience in her field, including budgeting and forecasting, project economic analysis, acquisitions and due diligence, implementation and maintenance of oil and gas industry accounting software, and financial reporting. Prior to joining PDC, Ms. George was a Senior Financial Analyst with Consol Energy, Inc. in Jane Lew, WV, as well as with Dominion Exploration and Production, Inc. based in Richmond, VA. Ms. George graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science dual-degree in Accounting and Office Administration from Fairmont State College in Fairmont, West Virginia.

Mahesh Gopalakrishnan

Director Information Technology

Mr. Gopalakrishnan began his career with PDC Energy in September 2012 as Director – Information Technologies. Mr. Gopalakrishnan brings a broad and deep technology background with 16 years of technical and management experience, and a proven record in strategic thinking and superior tactical execution. He also brings extensive experience building oil and gas related infrastructure technology.

Preceding PDC, Mr. Gopalakrishnan held the position of Manager of Information Technology for six years with Aspect Holdings, LLC, a private oil and gas company based in Denver, Colorado, where he was responsible for aligning Information Technology with the business goals of the organization. Prior to this Mr. Gopalakrishnan held various management positions of increasing responsibility with Quark Inc. located in Denver, Colorado, most recently serving as Director of Professional Services leading a team of eight project managers and system integration engineers. Mr. Gopalakrishnan received a Bachelor of Electronic Science from the University of Madras, India.

Ronda Henger

Director Human Resources

Ms. Henger joined PDC Energy as Director Human Resources in December 2013. She brings a broad and multifaceted Human Resources background with over 16 years of experience. Ms. Henger is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of Human Resources programs and policies in conjunction with PDC's senior management team, including staffing, compensation, benefits, workforce planning and training, and performance management. Prior to PDC, Ms. Henger served as Human Resources Manager for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation's Denver, Colorado office and previously for Hewlett Packard's northern Colorado office. Ms. Henger holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a M.E. in Human Resources from Colorado State University.

Berthold Jedamski

Senior Director Accounting Operations

Mr. Jedamski joined PDC in June 2008. He has over 15 years of industry experience with various E&P companies with Appalachian Basin, Mid-Continent, and Western Region assets. He has also been employed at Toothman Rice PLLC, a regional accounting firm, where he specialized in Oil & Gas Industry client services. Most recently, he was employed by Linn Energy, LLC where he served as Director of Operations Accounting. Mr. Jedamski is a graduate of Glenville State College in Glenville, WV with a BS in Accounting. He also holds an MBA from the University of Charleston in Charleston, WV.

David Lillo

Vice President Operations

Mr. Lillo joined PDC Energy in September 2015. He has over 27 years of experience in exploration, production, and operations engineering management. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Lillo was with Bonanza Creek Energy (“Bonanza”) from 2013-2015 serving as Senior Vice President of Production & Operations, after being promoted from VP, Rocky Mountain Asset Management. For Bonanza, he was responsible for overseeing both the Rocky Mountain and Mid-Continent assets. From 2005-2013, Mr. Lillo held numerous positions with Noble Energy, Inc. including Development and Operations Manager, Manager of Major Projects and Infrastructure, and District Manager for the DJ Basin. Prior to that, he was with Patina Oil and Gas Corporation from 1998-2005, serving in positions of increasing responsibility, including Operations Manager and District Production Manager overseeing Wattenberg operations. Prior to 1998, Mr. Lillo held several operation and technical positions for various companies with operations in Kansas, North Dakota, and California. Mr. Lillo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

James Lillo

Vice President Engineering and Technology

Mr. Lillo, a petroleum engineer, joined PDC Energy in October 2011 as VP Engineering and Technology. His proven background in reservoir, production and operations engineering is a culmination of working for over 35 years in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Lillo’s responsibilities include directing PDC Energy’s corporate reserve valuations per SEC guidelines, and supervising reservoir engineering projects, production forecasting and strategic planning. He also assists in PDC’s A&D efforts and focuses on evaluating technologies related to the development of oil and gas reserves.

Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Lillo was VP Engineering with Saga Petroleum Corp. Prior to this, Mr. Lillo was VP Acquisitions for seven years with Patina Oil & Gas Corporation where he lead both the company’s business development strategy as well as Patina’s acquisition efforts, including sourcing and screening acquisition candidates and valuation of oil and gas properties and companies. Previous to this role, Mr. Lillo worked with Consolidated Oil & Gas, Inc., serving as VP Engineering, where he was responsible for leading the Company’s reservoir engineering and acquisitions teams. He has also held positions in various engineering capacities with Hart Exploration, Champlin Petroleum Company and Shell Oil Company. Mr. Lillo has also worked as an independent petroleum engineering consultant for multiple oil and gas companies throughout his career.  

Mr. Lillo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering, with a minor in Petroleum Engineering, from the Colorado School of Mines and is a Registered Professional Engineer.

Nicole Martinet

Vice President and Associate General Counsel

Ms. Martinet joined PDC Energy in March 2011. She serves as VP and Associate General Counsel and is active in supporting the Company’s acquisitions and divestiture activities, all facets of the Company’s securities matters, equity offerings and day to day oil and gas matters. Prior to joining PDC, Ms. Martinet worked as an associate for the Corporate Finance and Acquisitions group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP in Denver, Colorado. In that position, Ms. Martinet garnered a wide range of experience representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and corporate financing. Her practice also included counseling clients on securities disclosure and compliance issues as well as compensation and corporate governance matters in a variety of industries. Ms. Martinet holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and French and Francophone Studies from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. In addition, Ms. Martinet received her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, where she graduated Order of St. Ives for being in the top 10% of her class, and was a Senior Staff Editor of the Denver University Law Review.

Ross Mazza

Director Financial Reporting

Mr. Mazza joined PDC Energy in June 2012 as Director Financial Reporting and is responsible for internal and external financial reporting, including filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to joining PDC Energy, Mr. Mazza served in various financial reporting roles in the energy and mining sectors, most recently serving as Director of Financial Reporting for Trinity Coal Corporation. Prior to this, Mr. Mazza served as Director of Financial Reporting and Investor Relations for International Coal Group, Inc., Manager of Financial Reporting for Linn Energy, LLC and as an Assurance Manager with Grant Thornton, LLP public accountants. Mr. Mazza graduated Cum Laude from West Virginia University with a dual Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Marketing, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Celesta Miracle

Vice President Government Relations

Ms. Miracle joined PDC in February 2004 and currently serves as the Company’s VP Government Relations with approximately 20 years of oil and gas experience. She has also filled the roles of VP Investor Relations and Communications, and VP Strategic Planning and Budgeting, for PDC. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Miracle was an Investment Representative with Edward Jones for three years, and worked for Dominion Resources where her focus was primarily in the regulatory area. Ms. Miracle graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. Degree in Accounting from West Virginia University and received her MBA from Duke University.

Dennis Seamon

Director Taxation

Mr. Seamon, a Certified Public Accountant, joined PDC in December 2006. He began his career in 1986 and spent over five years at the international public accounting firm of KPMG, two years as an auditor and over three years as a tax specialist and tax supervisor. He continued his public accounting career for two additional years as a manager in the tax department of a regional accounting firm. After a brief two years of employment at PNC Bank N.A., where he focused primarily on federal tax research, Mr. Seamon began his employment at Mylan Laboratories Inc. (now Mylan Inc.) in March 1996 as a Manager of Corporate Taxation. Mr. Seamon was later promoted to Director of Corporate Taxation at Mylan as the responsibilities of his position increased over his eleven years of employment with the company. Mr. Seamon holds a BSBAd in Accounting from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV and received his CPA license in 1988. He has supplemented his education with graduate level tax courses and continuous professional education in specialized tax accounting areas. Mr. Seamon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is also a member of the West Virginia Society of CPAs.

Darwin Stump

Vice President Accounting Operations

Mr. Stump was appointed to his current position in April 2009 after serving as Chief Accounting Officer since November 2006. Previously, Mr. Stump served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since November 2003. Mr. Stump has been an officer of the Company since April 1995 and held the position of Corporate Controller since 1980 when he joined the Company. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Stump was a senior accountant with Main Hurdman, Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Stump is a graduate of West Virginia University with a BSBA in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant.

Steven Trippett

Senior Asset Director

Mr. Trippett was appointed to his current position after serving as Director of Drilling and Completions Operations. He has over 27 years of industry experience in workovers, well completions, drilling, and production. Mr. Trippett originally joined PDC in 1984 as a Well Tender.  While working at PDC, he completed Glenville State College’s Petroleum Engineering Technology School.  In his current position, Mr. Trippett is responsible for the supervision of assets in the DJ Basin.

Michael Vieau

Director of Business Development

Mr. Vieau started with PDC in November of 2017 where he is responsible for managing and coordinating business development activities including acquisitions, divestitures, and potential acreage trades for the company. Prior to joining PDC Mr. Vieau held various business development roles at Occidental Petroleum and Cimarex Energy. Most recently Mr. Vieau was Director of Business Development for Caerus Oil and Gas LLC. At Caerus, Mr. Vieau was instrumental in managing several acquisitions and divestitures, most notably Caerus’ $735MM acquisition of Encana’s Piceance Basin assets in 2017. Mr. Vieau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Northern Colorado.

Troy Welling

Director E&P Accounting and Budgeting

Mr. Welling joined PDC Energy in 2011 and was appointed to his current position with the Company in June of 2015. He has also held the roles of Director E&P Accounting, Manager Budgeting and Analysis and Manager Technical Accounting & Special Projects. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Welling was employed by PwC LLP in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from September 2003 to November 2011, the last two and one-half years serving as Manager. Prior thereto, from June 2001 to September 2003, Mr. Welling was employed by Bodkin, Wilson & Kozicki, PLLC, an accounting firm based in Wheeling, West Virginia. Mr. Welling is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from West Liberty University, West Virginia.

Paul Whisenand

Director Land

Mr. Whisenand was appointed to his current position in 2017 where he is responsible for all land-related matters in the Wattenberg Field. He first joined PDC as a staff Landman in March 2007 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Landman, Team Lead and Land Manager. Mr. Whisenand has over 12 years of land experience in support of operational execution and business development. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Whisenand worked for LoneTree Energy. Mr. Whisenand holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Information Systems from the University of North Dakota and is a Certified Professional Landman.

Michael Williams

Director Revenue Accounting

Mr. Williams, a Certified Public Accountant, joined PDC in November 2012 as Director of Revenue Accounting. He brings over twenty years of accounting and auditing experience to his role, most recently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst for Consol Energy in Jane Lew, West Virginia. Prior to this he worked as a Controller for Colonial Millworks, and as an Internal Auditor/Chief Accountant with McDonough Corporation. Mr. Williams is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Fairmont State College in West Virginia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.

Clare Wilson

Director Finance and Assistant Treasurer

Ms. Wilson joined PDC Energy in February 2016 as Director Finance and Assistant Treasurer responsible for establishing and implementing short and long-range financial goals and objectives. Prior to joining PDC, Ms. Wilson was Corporate Finance Manager at DCP Midstream in Denver, and held other positions of increasing responsibility in her ten years with DCP. Ms. Wilson holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma, Price College of Business and an MS in Finance from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Ronald Wirth

Vice President Finance and Treasurer

Mr. Wirth joined PDC in May 2011 as Director of Investor Relations and was appointed to his current position in November 2012. He has approximately 20 years of oil and gas industry experience in Denver and has developed strong relationships with energy analysts, institutional investors and energy banking representatives. Prior to PDC, Mr. Wirth served as VP of Investor Relations and Administration for Teton Energy for approximately two years. Previously, Mr. Wirth was Director of Investor Relations for Western Gas Resources for 16 years, including four years as Treasurer and head of all administrative functions. Prior to oil and gas, Mr. Wirth spent approximately 18 years in various management positions in the banking and real estate fields. Mr. Wirth has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois.
